Philly girl recounts her most random (and unhinged) encounters with strangers to prove we aren’t using our ‘dialogue options’ enough: ‘Icon behavior’
We all need dialogue classes from Daisy.

We’ve all been in situations where a stranger says something so bizarre or offensive that we’re left speechless. But one woman from Philadelphia is proving that the free will to use our “dialogue options” is the ultimate social weapon.
TikTok creator Daisy Foko Granson (@daisyfoko) is going viral for her unique approach to social interaction. She describes it as picking the “weird dialogue options” and calls real-life a video game.
With over 5,000 views, her stories are a masterclass in calling bluffs and making rude people wish they’d stayed silent. It serves as a hilarious look at what happens when you stop following the social script and start jumping through every open window of opportunity.
The first dialogue got her a t-shirt from a rather annoying stranger
Once while walking through Manhattan with friends, Daisy was targeted by a man. He yelled a classic, dramatic catcall: “Girl, I would give you the shirt off my back for just a second of your time!” Most people would roll their eyes, but Daisy immediately stopped and said, “Alright. Give it.”
The man was so stunned by the literal response that he actually stood there removing two jackets and a sweater just to hand her his t-shirt. Daisy took the garment, thanked him, and walked away, leaving the man’s friends cackling at his unexpected loss.
A rude nail technician received a fake backstory
In another instance, Daisy accompanied a friend to a nail salon where the technician was known for being passive-aggressive. When the tech mockingly asked Daisy’s young-looking friend if she was a “child bride,” Daisy didn’t get angry. She leaned in on her dialogue options again.
She fabricated an elaborate, somber story about her friend being a victim of an “illegal situation” and a “child groom.” The technician was understandably left horrified and speechless. But, Daisy effectively made her learn to think twice before making “weird comments” to customers again.
Daisy almost bartered for a bike with her random dialogue
Daisy’s most extreme example occurred at the ACL music festival. She recalled the time a man jumped out of a bush to ask for her photo. But she immediately asked him what he was willing to give her in exchange. Caught off guard, the man began hesitating. So, Daisy quickly pointed to his bicycle.
Despite it being his only mode of transportation, the man was so baffled that he actually handed the bike over to her. Daisy was ready to ride away with her “free bike” until her friends physically intervened. Sadly, they dragged her away from the stranger and she had to leave her bike.
Users were impressed with Daisy’s social whimsy
After listening through Daisy’s stories, people realized they have been just playing life on autopilot. “I’m not using my free will to its full potential,” one viewer remarked, inspired by Daisy’s refusal to follow standard social norms.
“Being smart, quick, and having no regard for feelings is lethal,” another added, noting the efficiency of her “child bride” rebuttal. One joked, telling Daisy “You’re living a Choose Your Own Adventure book.” That actually sums up what her “weird dialogue options” are all about.
Social scripts are meant to be broken, use your ‘dialogues’ more
Daisy told her stories to prove that we don’t have to accept the passive role in public interactions. Whether it’s taking a catcaller’s t-shirt or silencing a rude technician with a fake tragedy, there are always more options available than we think.
So, the next time someone offers you the world for a second of your time, make sure you have a place to park the bike.
