Nevada Woman Catches Her Landlord Moving a Stranger Into Her Rental During Active Lease: ‘When Did You Communicate That’

A Nevada woman’s confrontation with her landlord over an alleged attempt to move another person into her rental home resurfaced online months after the May videos circulated, reigniting debate over tenant rights, lease agreements, and whether landlords can change occupancy arrangements without a resident’s knowledge.

The TikTok account @1losworld reposted the videos and appears to share other people’s storytimes and viral moments. Alma Husnic reportedly posted the original footage, though her Instagram posts featuring the videos are no longer publicly available.

In the clips, Husnic claims her landlord attempted to move a stranger into her rental property while she still held an active lease. She challenged the landlord over the alleged decision, repeatedly asking why no one communicated the arrangement to her: “When did you communicate that?”

Woman Questions Alleged Attempt To Add New Occupant To Rental

The first clip, labeled “part one of my landlord trying to move a random person into my rental during my lease,” shows Husnic speaking to a woman she identifies as connected to the property outside the rental home. The confrontation began after Husnic claimed the landlord never told her that another person would move into the property and create a shared living arrangement.

“So what was your intention here? To move a tenant into this?” Husnic asks in the video. She then demands to know when the landlord informed her that another person would be moving into the home.

“When did you communicate that you’re moving a stranger into my apartment, my house that I am renting and I’ve leased?” she says. Husnic also questions why the landlord allegedly offered the second bedroom, which she says belonged to her son, to another person.

“When did you communicate that my second bedroom, my son’s room, was for rent or that anybody was moving in?” she asks. She claims the landlord did not include the arrangement in the rental listing or the lease agreement she signed.

The clip shows another woman standing behind the person connected to the property, with bags and belongings piled beside her. She remains quiet throughout the exchange, watching the confrontation unfold as Husnic questions the alleged move-in arrangement. Husnic says the woman is the person the landlord allegedly intended to move into the home, though the videos do not independently confirm her identity or role.

Viral Videos Spark Debate Over Lease Agreement

The videos sparked a wave of discussion online, with viewers’ opinions shifting as more details from Husnic’s side of the dispute emerged.

In the first clip, many commenters appeared to side with Husnic, expressing frustration over what they believed was an attempt to place another person in the home without Husnic’s knowledge.

“Moving someone in the same house you already rent is wild,” one commenter wrote.

Other viewers questioned why the landlord allowed the situation to unfold, with some accusing the landlord of attempting to change the rental agreement’s terms without Husnic’s knowledge.

The tone of the comments shifted after Husnic revealed additional details in later clips, including her claim that she consulted an attorney and decided to withhold further payments until she resolved issues related to the lease.

The mention of withheld payments became a major point of debate among viewers. Some commenters who initially supported Husnic began questioning whether she could legally remain in the property while withholding money, while others accused her of squatting.

Others defended Husnic, arguing that the dispute involved more than rent payments and that viewers should also consider her concerns about the lease, security deposit, and communication with the landlord.

Husnic Addresses Claims She Was Not Paying Rent

After the videos gained traction, Husnic posted a follow-up story-time video addressing criticism from viewers who claimed she was living in the property without paying.

In the video, Husnic disputed those claims and said she had paid rent.

“My rent is paid,” she said. “I am withholding any further payments on my security deposit.”

Husnic claimed she paid $3,600 when she moved in, which she said included rent payments for April and May. She also claimed she made an additional $1,000 payment toward her security deposit and said she could provide receipts documenting those payments.

She argued that she stopped making additional payments because she claimed the landlord had not provided a countersigned lease agreement or a move-in checklist.

The claims have not been independently verified.

Husnic Claims Landlord Entered Property Without Proper Notice

In another portion of the video series, Husnic points to an item inside the home and questions who it belongs to before accusing the landlord of entering the property without proper notice while she was away.

“He entered my home when I was not here,” she said in the video, alleging that the landlord thought she did not have anyone checking on the property.

Husnic also referenced Washington state rental laws during the confrontation and claimed the landlord had violated tenant protections. However, the videos do not provide documentation confirming the lease agreement, payment records, legal advice, or whether anyone filed an official complaint.

Dispute Ends With Police Called To Document Situation

In the final clip, Husnic said she planned to contact law enforcement to document the dispute and told the person involved in the confrontation that they needed to address the situation.

“I am going to contact the police right now. This will be documented,” she said.

During the exchange, Husnic continued to argue that communication regarding the rental agreement should have gone through proper property management channels. She said that a property manager should be responsible for handling lease-related communication and tenant concerns from start to finish.

The video ended shortly after Husnic announced that she was contacting 911. The clips do not show what happened after the call or whether officers responded.

Questions Remain After Viral Rental Dispute

Months after the videos circulated online, questions remain about the full context behind the confrontation. Husnic removed the original Instagram posts from her account, leaving the reposted clips from @1losworld as the main publicly available version of the footage circulating online.

The videos drew strong reactions from viewers, with some continuing to support Husnic’s claims about the alleged lease dispute while others questioned details surrounding the rental agreement, withheld payments, and the circumstances involving the woman who appeared to be preparing to move into the property.

Neither the landlord nor the property representative shown in the videos has publicly responded to the allegations, and the videos do not show a confirmed outcome following the confrontation.
