Marjorie Taylor Greene says Trump went off on her over the Epstein Files. Because nothing triggers him like his past catching up

Marjorie Taylor Greene is not shying away from criticising Donald Trump and his administration. In the past couple of weeks, she has made several visits to popular news channels and participated in interviews where she discussed her experiences as a MAGA supporter.

Continuing her streak of Trump bashing, Marjorie Taylor Greene appeared on CBS News’ 60 Minutes, a show that Trump had also been featured on a few weeks ago. In the latest episode, Taylor Greene made several revelations that significantly highlight the reasons for her fallout with President Donald Trump. If you’ve been keeping up with their story, you likely know that it was due to several factors. The most significant reason was related to the Epstein Files, which, for reasons known to some, Trump was reluctant to release, while Taylor Greene was eager to see them disclosed. Another area where the two MAGA supporters disagreed was on domestic versus international policies. Taylor Greene felt that Trump should prioritise domestic issues, while he was busy making international trips to strengthen relations with other nations. They also had differing views on other topics, such as rising inflation in the American economy, increasing property prices that make it hard for young people to rent or buy homes, and the inability to propose a new bill to replace the outdated Obamacare, among other concerns.

Marjorie Taylor Greene covered all of this and more during her recent appearance on 60 Minutes. However, the particular segment of her discussion on the show, where she talks about Donald Trump’s reaction to her advocating for the release of the Epstein Files, is drawing the most attention due to Trump’s suspicious behaviour regarding it. During the interview, Taylor Greene remembered Trump being “extremely angry” and “furious” with her when he found out she had signed a discharge petition to release the controversial Epstein Files. She also recounted Trump warning her that many people would get “hurt” when the files were released, but he did not specify who he was referring to. MTG’s comments have led many to speculate that Donald Trump is implying that billionaires and influential individuals could be harmed if their names are exposed in the Epstein Files, as he has always had a reputation for protecting them.
