Build Your Own Impractical Lightsaber Like a True Padawan With New Star Wars Toys

The crossguard lightsaber has nothing on these.

Now all Padawan learners can complete their journey and become Jedi masters the old fashioned way in real life: by building their own lightsabers. The Jedi Master Lightsaber set was unveiled by Hasbro at the New York Toy Fair and comes with a standard lightsaber with lights and sounds, two smaller blade attachments, a hilt expansion, and several connectors for configurations to out-ridiculous even J.J. Abrams.

Make it happen.

There’s also a whole line of less expensive electronic, extending, and foam lightsabers for those who aren’t worried that taking shortcuts will lead them down the path to the dark side.

Time to whip up some crazy lightsaber designs. I just hope I’m not too old to begin the training.
