I love you, Tom Holland’s new (and perfect) Spider-Man suit

Tom Holland Spider-man fit

I have longed for the day when Tom Holland had a more traditional Spider-Man suit. Now, those prayers have been answered with our first look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day!

It feels impossible that we’re getting a fourth Spider-Man movie with one actor and yet here we are. It was announced shortly after the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home that Tom Holland would be back as Peter Parker but it was a long time coming. Now, we’re in the midst of filming the fourth film and we have set videos, new casting announcements, and a suit reveal that is one of the best things I’ve ever seen!

The news broke this weekend that filming was really picking up. Or, better yet: They were going to film outside. Instead of letting leaks take over the internet, the team behind Brand New Day got ahead of the curve and debuted Holland’s new Spider-Man suit and it is perfect. Raised lines, an ideal symbol, no nanobites….how I’ve missed you!

And fans are reacting as Spider-Man fans do: Enthusiastically. I don’t want to say we’re the best but we do all just love Peter Parker with our whole hearts. But I felt seen by this person who is standing and watching a scene being filmed in Glasgow who started screaming about seeing Spider-Man. Honestly? Me anytime I see someone in a Spider-Man suit.

The movie is really kicking off though. With the news of Mark Ruffalo joining the cast, there is a lot to get excited about in the world of Spidey and it is about time! We have been waiting since 2021 for another Tom Holland Spider-Man film and to see him in a legitimate Spidey suit just has me excited to see what Destin Daniel Cretton and company have in store for us all!
