‘History will not be kind to him’: Americans to go hungry after Trump cut SNAP benefits, while the dictator-in-chief demolishes the White House

Since assuming office for a second term this year, Donald Trump’s policies have benefited no one except himself. In the midst of the government shutdown, increased tariffs, and attacks on immigrant populations, Trump’s extreme measures are now impacting many low-income individuals who rely on SNAP benefits for their daily food intake.

With the government shutdown in place, the SNAP federal program has run out of funds that are necessary for providing healthy food to those who cannot afford it. Although the program has some emergency funds available, these cannot be accessed due to President Donald Trump’s orders. As a result, many individuals are distressed over the loss of food access, with some being left with no alternatives.

While numerous Americans are on the verge of losing access to food due to the expiration of SNAP benefits, many have noted that Donald Trump seems completely unaffected by this crisis. He is making significant renovations in and around the White House, costing approximately 300 million dollars (as per reports), funded by private donors. Furthermore, he is entering into a lending agreement with Argentina, providing around $20 billion to help stabilise its collapsing economy. Many people have criticised the President for prioritising his interests over those of struggling Americans, and I find their judgment hard to dispute. After all, what is Trump if not selfish, narcissistic, and acting like a monarch?

In a video featuring a woman discussing Trump’s refusal to utilize reserves set aside for emergencies, one individual on social media platforms, including X, commented:

“Trump is the first of many things. History will not be kind to him or his followers.”

“Trump’s starving his own voters twice over, proving cruelty isn’t just his brand, it’s his ballot box suicide,” wrote another person, while several others expressed approval by sharing similar comments about Donald Trump and his administration.

Trump refuses to acknowledge that he is increasingly behaving like a dictatorial king, but his actions suggest otherwise.
