‘He’s definitely a fraud’: Hakeem Jeffries just took down Trump’s puppet Dr Oz with three words

These days, Democratic leaders are attempting to fight fire with fire by being equally petty as their Republican counterparts. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is continuing that trend by taking a dig at Trump’s puppet and administrator of the Centres for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Dr Mehmet Oz.
During a recent press conference held by Hakeem Jeffries, an interviewer opened his question with the words “Dr Oz said,” and was interrupted by Jeffries, who asked, “Who?” as some audience members started to laugh. After the interviewer was done with his question, Jeffries went on a rant against Oz and his insufficiencies as a doctor as well as an individual. “That’s like the most random way to start a question on a serious topic. Nobody serious in this country takes Dr Oz seriously, no one,” Jeffries said. He continued:
“I mean, it’s shocking that the guy even was confirmed. But this is part of the reality of Republicans here in the House and over in the Senate, they’re nothing more than a rubber stamp for Donald Trump’s cruelty and extreme agenda.”
On being pressed further to answer questions related to Dr Oz’s comments on “serious” matters, Hakeem Jeffries remarked that he had no idea about what Dr Oz was talking about, adding that “neither do the American people.” Talking about the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Jeffries highlighted that the Republicans do not care for the American people, as they have tried to repeal the act more than “70 different times” in the “last 15 years.” He also said that the Democrats were open to having discussions with the Republicans to reach a bipartisan agreement over healthcare, but added that he wouldn’t be answering questions related to it from “randos” like Dr Oz, who are “woefully unqualified” to be in their position. “He’s a joke, these people are a joke,” Jeffries said as part of his concluding remarks about Dr Oz.
Hakeem Jeffries’ ruthless trolling of Dr Oz has taken the internet by storm. On popular social media platforms such as X, Oz is being subjected to additional mockery. One person wrote:
“Dr Oz claimed green coffee beans burned fat. He may not be a “joke” but he’s definitely a fraud….and, thus, perfect for the Trump Admin.”
Another person wrote:
“Hakeem, you’re right. It’s crucial to focus on real solutions for healthcare instead of entertaining the noise from unqualified voices. Let’s keep pushing for what truly matters for the American people. Enough with the distractions!”
Several others echoed similar sentiments. That said, many conservative-leaning individuals expressed their unrelenting support for Dr Oz and, in extension, Donald Trump. It is almost as if they are getting paid to do so.
