He came two minutes late for a CT scan in Germany. They refused to serve him: ‘They feel like they are the Guardians of the Galaxy’
The receptionists wanted him to be extremely punctual.

Deladus (@dehladus) said he was a couple of minutes late to his CT scan appointment in Germany. He alleged that the receptionists tried to turn him away.
“I enjoy a rude receptionist. You know those ones that sit at the hospitals, etcetera, where they do the most, and they feel like they are the Guardians of the Galaxy? They are the ones I love,” Deladus sarcastically told TikTok. He was running late for his appointment, stuck in city traffic, but he arrived just two minutes late.
“I speak English to this guy, and I give him my documents,” Deladus continued. He explained that he was scheduled for a CT scan. Then, the receptionist allegedly turned to his colleague. He allegedly told her in fluent German to tell Deladus in English that he was two minutes late and therefore they couldn’t help him. The man also added that Deladus should rebook an appointment for another day.
“In a way, it was very rude and dismissive,” he said. Deladus didn’t speak German when he arrived at the clinic, and he kept quiet after the man gave the instruction. The woman turned to him, and Deladus asked if it was possible to work around the situation. He alleged that the receptionist refused and that he thought it would “take too much time.” To make his point, the receptionist allegedly spoke in broken English and told Deladus to book another appointment. Upset, Deladus said he flipped.
Crashing out on receptionists over a medical appointment
“What the f*** do you mean you can’t serve me now? You literally told your colleague to tell me in English that I’m here two minutes late. How long is the appointment?” he asked, supposedly grilling the receptionist. Both the man and woman started stuttering, and the woman allegedly defended his colleague, saying that he didn’t mean it.
“Ma’am, I have a C1 in German,” he allegedly told the woman. Deladus preferred to speak in English during the medical appointment, but he understood their conversation. Like this passenger from Toronto who overheard a few men talking smack about him in Japanese, Deladus knew what they said and told the doctor.
The doctor came out and asked what was happening, and Deladus told him the front desk staff had dismissed him. He also asked the doctor if it was their policy to turn a patient away only because they were two minutes late. The doctor asked if that really happened, and Deladus asked an older woman nearby, who overheard the conversation. She also confirmed the receptionists’ conversation to the doctor.
He asked the doctor how long the CT scan would take, and the doctor replied that it would take two to three minutes. Deladus remarked, “If you cannot train your staff, please do not put people like that there. We come here seeking help, and I would rather not come here with a broken shoulder, coming to meet a stupid person who thinks that they can be rude and dismissive to me. I am already in pain.”
Eventually, the doctor proceeded with Deladus’ appointment. After the scan, the male receptionist allegedly approached him again and told Deladus in English that his results were ready. “You suddenly know how to speak English, don’t you, now? Next time, don’t f****** play with me,” Deladus warned. At least his receptionist didn’t walk out on him and cry in the toilet after a mild confrontation.
