Heather (@heatherdaltonofficial) has stunned over 7.6 million viewers with a story that starts with a hidden prosthetic. Then comes an awkward hookup incident and a dramatic window escape. But nothing prepared the viewers for how the story ends. You would almost feel bad for the guy until the last sentence.
The man used his ‘winter wardrobe’ to hide his prosthetic secret
Heather begins the video with a wild hook: “I dated a guy with no legs one time.” Everyone was immediately hooked, obviously. But the story kept getting wilder. Heather explained that she dated this man for full three full months before discovering that he had prosthetic legs.
Since the two met online, they spent their first few months together during a cold winter. So, Heather didn’t notice that the guy didn’t have legs from the knee down under his long pants. “None of his pictures showed that he had no legs. He wasn’t in a wheelchair or anything like that,” she explained. And apparently, his gait wasn’t unusual enough for her to catch on.

In a moment that viewers described as “an original experience,” he used his arms to hoist himself up and jump out the window into the night. “But then I had to like throw his legs behind him,” Heather recalled, admitting she felt terrible about the logistical nightmare she’d created.

While the story started out as a humorous look at a physical surprise, the ending took a darker, more typical turn. Heather eventually discovered that the man had been hiding a secret girlfriend who had been in a mental hospital for the duration of their relationship.
When the girlfriend was released, she discovered Heather and began messaging her on Facebook. At that point, Heather decided the drama wasn’t worth it, telling the guy, “Bro, go get your girl.”
