Early Avengers Animatics Give Us Teeny Looks at the Wasp

Joss Whedon has been pretty up front about how initial drafts of The Avengers featured Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp, as a seventh member of the team. Federico D’Alessandro, whose IMDB page shows art department credits on Marvel Entertainment movies from Thor onward, as well as I Am Legend and two Narnia movies, has recently shared some animatics he produced while working on the early stages of The Avengers, including this one, which gives us but the briefest look at Janet, at 0:17 and in the oft used in marketing “look at all the team members” spin.
