Donald Trump’s family cashes in $1.4 billion during his second term — but sure, blame communism for everything

A significant number of Americans are infuriated after learning that Donald Trump and his family earned over 1 billion during his second term in office. Why, you ask? Because Trump was amassing wealth while the public was largely struggling under his regime, with some even failing to make ends meet. Remember the cuts to SNAP, or the tariffs on US imports that heavily impacted soybean farmers and cattle ranchers? I don’t think anyone has forgotten that. He was quite indifferent when it came to these decisions, and it turns out it was because he was on a personal journey, one that involved putting more money in his own pocket.

The New York Times feature that discusses Trump’s wealth accumulation during his second term also highlights the sources of his income. Here’s a simple breakdown of that information.

Licensing the Trump name– The NYT piece highlights that the Trump family has earned approximately $ 23 million from licensing the Trump name overseas. It notes that there are more than 20 projects that the Trumps are considering to rake in substantial profits. Some of the ventures they have already benefited from include a hotel in Oman, an office tower in western India, and a golf course on the outskirts of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Melania Trump Amazon documentary– The Trumps apparently made 28 million dollars from Melania Trump’s documentary, titled Melania, which is being distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, and the rights were reportedly sold for “far more” than their actual worth.

Settlements by Big Tech and media companies– Companies like X, Meta, ABC News, Paramount, and YouTube have allegedly paid large sums of money to the Trumps, making them a staggering 90.5 million dollars.

Qatar’s aircraft gift– Last year, Qatar gifted an aircraft to President Trump worth 400 million dollars. Trump has expressed his desire to use it as the new Air Force One and to take it with him after leaving office, preserving it in the presidential library.

Cryptocurrency– The Trumps have made the most significant profits from their involvement in the cryptocurrency sector, amassing approximately 867 million dollars through their activities. The major transactions have primarily been international and national, with regional deals also contributing significantly.

Well, no wonder he hates communism and refers to it as an “evil doctrine.” He wouldn’t be able to do all of this if it weren’t for his beloved capitalism.
