Disney’s Indiana Jones Themed Bar Set to Open Next Week

Recommended Videos

Disney made an Indiana Jones-themed bar. Disney made an Indiana Jones-themed bar. Let that settle in for a moment. Okay. Ready for the next bit? It’s opening September 21st in Downtown Disney at Disney World in Orlando, FL. That’s next week.

Eater reports that Jock Lindsay’s Hangar Bar, named after the pilot from the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark, will feature the traditional Disney theming and detail including themed drinks and bits of correspondence between Jock and Indy hung up on the walls. For those of you who don’t know, Jock and Indy go way back, so there was plenty of story for the Imagineers to pull from.

And come on, it’s Indiana Jones. The character practically sweats story.

Since a lot of Disney fans miss the heck out of the (now defunct) Adventurer’s Club bar, there’s no small hope that this bar could maybe live up to the legacy left behind by its quirky older sister.

Well, gang. I know where I’m spending my next vacation.
