Despite bragging about acing cognitive exams, a new poll shows 56% of Americans believe Trump is unfit to be President

There is no doubt that Donald Trump thinks highly of himself, but unfortunately, the people around him do not share that opinion, except for his loyal MAGA base and, of course, most members of his administration. If this was something known internally until now, there are now figures indicating that people do not trust Trump with the leadership of the United States.
A video is currently trending on social media, especially on X (formerly Twitter), featuring journalist Katy Tur in a news segment on MS Now. She exclaims that more people are raising concerns about Trump’s fitness to be President of the United States. She presents some data to support her claim, and she is not far from the truth.
Donald Trump’s supporter base is shrinking
Trump often claims that his approval ratings are at a hundred percent among his supporters. While that is completely false, recent polls show that many now question his mental capabilities. As mentioned earlier, this topic was brought up in an MS Now segment by journalist Katy Tur.
Displaying the statistics, Tur showed on the screen that a recent poll by ABC News, The Washington Post, and Ipsos indicates that 56 percent of people believe Trump lacks the mental sharpness to effectively serve as President of the United States, while 43 percent think he is fit for the position. Additionally, a poll by Reuters and Ipsos finds that 61 percent of Americans believe Trump has become “erratic with age,” whereas 30 percent disagree. Tur says these numbers reflect Trump’s recent behavior since starting his second term, which has faced heavy criticism, including reasons like sleeping through important meetings and rambling about trivial matters while discussing serious issues.
Trump brags about passing his cognitive tests again
It seems Donald Trump can’t stop talking about his impressive cognitive test results. He’s been discussing them regularly since last year and often challenges former presidents and other well-known political figures to take the same tests. He’s doing the same now, with little change from earlier rhetoric.
A video circulating on X from a few days ago shows Trump talking about his cognitive exam results, claiming he passed with flying colors. The catch is, he said, he took the test three times. Someone under a video of the incident shared by an X user pointed out that if Trump took the exam three times, it suggests doctors were monitoring a condition, and many who liked that comment agreed.
