Deputy Attorney General’s declaration just proved that Kash Patel had been lying about the Epstein Files all along

On Friday, the United States Department of Justice released over 3 million documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, along with 180,000 images and 2,000 videos. The same reveals the identities of several influential people worldwide, including Elon Musk, Brett Ratner, Bill Gates, and former Prince Andrew.
While the contents of the documents released by the Department of Justice in relation to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation are harrowing to say the least, one thing that has caught the attention of the netizens is the degree to which the government faction had previously misled people, possibly in an effort to protect powerful men. This is not to say that we are currently being provided the full picture. The notable redactions in the documents have raised several questions among people, with many wondering if they are protecting perpetrators.
People are drawing comparisons between the comments made by United States Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche and Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Kash Patel regarding the Jeffrey Epstein probe. In a video that is currently circulating on social media platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), which contains a combination of two separate clips, shows Kash Patel, on one hand denying knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein trafficking underage girls to anyone besides himself during a Senate hearing held in September last year, and in another hand shows Todd Blanche addressing the press following the release of the recent batch of Epstein documents. In it, Blanche says that any depiction of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and child pornography was “obviously excluded.” Among other things to be “excluded” was also anything that could “jeopardise an active federal investigation” and anything that contains “images of death, physical abuse, or injury.” People have noticed the stark differences in the comments of Patel and Blanche, highlighting that while the former has downplayed the seriousness of the case and has often given a false sense about it, the latter’s testimony is fairly sincere, making Patel look nothing less than a liar.
That being said, Todd Blanche has also found himself embroiled in controversy as several of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims accused him and the Department of Justice of not efficiently conducting the redactions related to the Epstein investigation. However, Blanche is certain that his department worked as efficiently as possible. Appearing on ABC News on Sunday, Blanche said:
We took great pains, as I explained on Friday, to make sure that we protected victims. Every time we hear from a victim or their lawyer that they believe that their name was not properly redacted, we immediately rectify that.”
