‘Cause why would you do that?’: Arizona man goes to ‘skrip’ club. Then a worker calls him out for poor VIP etiquette

A strip club worker in Phoenix, Arizona, gives a customer a tour of VIP and tells him her prices. His disappointing reaction leads her to make a TikTok PSA about what not to do when inquiring about the VIP services.

In a video with over 4,000 views, TikToker Violet Stormi (@violet.stormi) says the man asked her to show him the VIP section of the club, where customers can get private dances. She notes that the man was “gassing [her] up” about what a great time it would be if they went to the more private section.

However, when she tells him how much it’ll cost him, he asks her to go get a different dancer.

How did she respond to his rude request?

“We get back to VIP and after all this talk…you go, ‘OK cool. Can you actually go get this girl for me?'” she recounts.

While she notes that she felt excited for the dancer who was going to make money from the private dance, she couldn’t help but feel like he wasted her time.

“Don’t waste my time like that. Just grab that girl in the first place,” she suggests.

And it wasn’t just one customer. Stormi shares that “five to seven” different customers asked her for tours of VIP, only to select a different dancer for the experience.

“It’s OK. It just wasn’t my night to win. It is what it is. But it is a little discouraging,” she notes. “It could save all of us time if you just tell me which girl you want to go to VIP with.”

What should customers do instead?

In the comments, other strip club workers suggest the right way for a customer to get a VIP tour.

“Do I look like the manager? Because they get paid hourly to be here. We do not, please do not waste our time like this. I hate this so much!!” one remarks.

Another says, “If i asked for a tour, I wouldn’t be upset if you passed me off to a manager.”

On the r/stripclubs subreddit, club goers discuss the best ways to inquire about VIP rooms with the dancer they want to go with.

“Every club different.. usually bartenders are a good way to go to find out information,” a commenter suggests. “If you want to ask a dancer, meaning they aren’t so you showing interest in wanting vip with the dancer you asking… Ask during the reg dance..”

“When I’ve had vip the process typically goes 1 talk to a girl I like 2 ask about a dance to make sure the vibe is good 3 discuss the price for vip,” a second says.

“Ask the doorman first, sometimes there’s specials,” another writes.
