Dressing up for a day with the girls is a fun experience. The ritual boosts self-confidence while taking a break from the mundanity of daily life to enjoy yourself. Essentially, you’re dressing your best for yourself. Instead, the clothing Florida-based woman and her friends decided to wear got them sent out moment they stepped into Casa Neos.

The Outfits That Denied Entry

In an eight second clip, TikTok creator Anaya (@ms.wrldwide) stands in front of a mirror, donning a long, strapless leopard print dress to over 209,000 views. As she pans the camera over, she unveils her friends’ ensembles. On the left, one friend is wearing a polka dot pant suit and the other a short, low cut tight fitted dress. When she moves over to the right, another friend has on a long, geometric patterned form fitting dress. Nothing appears out of the ordinary. But it is for the establishment they are at.

“Day 5281: Miami is not a real place,” she writes in the text overlay, outraged. ” “Casa Neo, count your days! We were told we ‘don’t look up to par’ to enter the party space,” she vents. “Mind you, our friend was there & already paid mad bread for the table. These were the looks in question???”

However, the content creator continues her express her anger in the caption, “They really played. Also mind you, there [were people] in there looking crazy so idk what part wasn’t ‘up to par.’ Deff never going back!”

In the comments section, she revealed, “It was during the day lmao.”

Viewers Sided with Ayana

Her quick clip garnered confusion among viewers who saw nothing wrong with the quartet’s outfits.

“Oooo someone was jealous of yall cause what?? ya all look gooddd,” one viewer commented.

“Literally nothing wrong with your outfits. As a Miami girl born and raised, this is exactly why I don’t go to places like this. Mad weird,” another echoed.

“Y’all are stunning! Go anywhere else and you will be treated like the Queens you are. [Expletive] Miami,” a third praised.

Moreover, others attempted to figure out why the outfits would be an issue.

“As a Miami native they basically saying ‘ya too covered up,’” one commenter stated.

“Maybe it’s too nightclub? But ya all look amazing,” a second suggested.

“Outfits are FIRE. Only thing I can think of [is that the] outfits look mismatched when you guys stand together? All different vibes but that’s normal??? Idk Miami scary,” a third proposed.

What Is The Dress Code at Casa Neos?

The Mediterranean restaurant’s rules on attire vary depending on the time of day and week. On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch runs from 11:30 am to 4:30pm where guests must adhere to the sporty chic dress code. These clothing choices include dressed-up shorts, polo shirts, t-shirts along with long jeans and tennis shoes, according to their website.

On the other hand, dinner’s clothing requirement is stricter. The hours aren’t consistent, open from 6pm-2am on Tuesdays-Thursdays, 5:30pm-2:30am on Fridays, 5pm-2:30am on Saturdays and 5pm-1pm on Sundays. During these hours of operations, the smart dress code is required. Think of it as a trendy business casual attire, which can be tricky to assemble. When in doubt, Classic Six lists several pairings women can choose from for an evening occasion:

  • Slip dresses or elegant wrap dresses with heels or flats
  • Black jeans with a silk camisole and a velvet blazer
  • Structured jumpsuits with jewelry and heels

Those who don’t abide by these dress requirements are denied entry. Not even children are exempt as they reserve the right to refuse anyone not respecting their policies.
