Marvel may be slow to move into more diverse leads in their films, but it is slowly happening, and we’ve finally got our first look at Black Panther from the set of Captain America: Civil War!

(AKA Avengers 2.5.)

Sadly, we still have to wait until 2018 to see him in his own movie, but without further ado:

It seems these are stunt doubles and not the actual actors (I don’t think that’s Sebastian Stan, anyway), especially considering that the movie’s cast is huge, and they’d likely cut down on the time they need their big names for as much as possible. But now we at least know what looks Black Panther and Bucky Barnes will be sporting when Civil War comes out on May 6 next year.

What do you think?

[Update] And here he is in (slightly more) action!
