You Got It, Dude: Avengers Get the Full House Intro Treatment

Where there is a Full House, there must be an Olsen.

Full House certainly has a special place in my heart, which I say even as a native of Oakland, California. So when I saw that the Avengers got the Full House treatment, you better believe I was already on board. YouTuber –zach– edited together clips from all of the Avengers movies and gag reels and set them to the Full House theme song—the full theme song, mind you, not just the abbreviated version in the normal title sequence.

A neat touch to this video is that whether by design or by happy accident, both the audio and video components of this, uh, video, are delightfully compressed, giving it a real fuzzy ’90s television quality. There’s plenty of nice sight gags in the video, and it’s certainly a day-brightener, so you should definitely give it a watch. Also note how almost-surreal it is to have a Full House-style title intro with an actual Olsen sibling, Elizabeth Olsen. If you weren’t aware, she’s the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, so her name bears more than just a passing resemblance to the original Full House stars.

As a bonus, –zach– also uploaded a side-by-side comparison between the actual Full House intro and his video, showing how lined up they are. All said, there was a lot of really nice attention to detail that I missed out on the first go-round. Also, Robert Downey Jr. as John Stamos? Chris Evans as Bob Saget? Priceless.
