Archived footage unearthed by Jimmy Kimmel shows that Stephen Miller was always problematic
In his second term as President of the United States, Donald Trump has created a strong army of puppets who will never say no to his obnoxious demands. One among them is the United States Homeland Security Advisor, Stephen Miller, who is equally, if not more, outrageous than the dictator-in-chief is.
On January 9, 2026, the official YouTube channel of Jimmy Kimmel Live shared a video that was approximately 13 minutes long, which also included archived footage of Stephen Miller possibly speaking at a college event. In this video, Miller can be seen expressing his frustration about having to pick up his “trash” despite several janitors being present who were “paid” to do the job. Kimmel added a brief anecdote as the video was cut, saying, “What a lovely young man, huh, even for 2002, that was apparently too much, and so when they tried to bring up the next speaker, all of a sudden it was okay to resist the authorities.”As the video replayed, Stephen Miller could be seen attempting to snatch away the mic from a woman who was trying to introduce the next speaker before being taken away by a few people. Kimmel commented on this too and joked, “And they marched him straight to the White House, where he is now,” while asserting that he has “always been like this.” Jimmy Kimmel continued to poke fun at Miller and said that people could read Stephen Miller’s memoir, “Born a Douche.”
Jimmy Kimmel’s comments about Stephen Miller have invited significant criticism online, especially on X (formerly Twitter), where videos of the incident have been widely circulated. While most of the comments under these videos are in support of Kimmel, there are also a few that speak against him and for Trump and his MAGA cult. Some in the latter group even believe that Stephen Miller should be the next president after Donald Trump has served his term.
That being said, this is certainly not the first time Jimmy Kimmel has criticised members of the Trump administration. He is famously known for doing this and has been at it for a long time. However, towards the end of last year, the rate at which Kimmel called out the current administration increased significantly, particularly because they were attempting to take away his job and consistently advocating for his show’s cancellation. The first time, it sort of worked when his show was temporarily suspended, but he returned and has come back stronger than ever. Some would argue he is now invincible because, despite the ongoing jabs at Trump and Trump’s furious rants about him urging for his show’s cancellation, he still gets to do what he loves and mostly without any restrictions.
