An Epstein insider just shattered Trump’s version of how he met Melania, exposing the truth behind the spin
With the release of the latest set of documents in relation to the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, the last few days have been extremely tense. But now, more information has emerged that involves Epstein, United States President Donald Trump, and First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, which has caused curiosity among the people of America.
Based on a bombshell revelation made by Daily Beast via an article published on their website on February 2, 2026, that is further based on the information that was revealed in the Jeffrey Epstein case on January 30, 2026, it is believed that all the claims Donald Trump and Melania Trump have made over the years about their meeting and their love life are false. According to the piece, the recent documents in the case suggest that a former assistant of Jeffrey Epstein, who was also one of his victims, had told the FBI that her former boss was the one to introduce Melania and Donald. The part of the document that makes these claims reads something like this:
ZEMPOLI was trying to buy Elite Models with EPSTEIN. EPSTEIN introduced MELANIA TRUMP to DONALD TRUMP.”
If true, this completely contradicts Melania Trump’s account of her first meeting with Donald Trump, which she has gone into deep detail about in her 2024 memoir Melania including stating that the current United States Special Representative for Global Partnerships, Paolo Zampolli, is responsible for introducing them. An excerpt from her memoir in which Melania details her meet-cute with the current president of the United States reads:
I saw my friend wave at someone behind me. When I turned around, I noticed a man and an attractive blonde woman approaching us. Hi. I’m Donald Trump,’ the man said when he reached my table. ‘Nice to meet you.’ I recognized the name, and I knew he was a businessman or celebrity, but not much else. He put his hand out to shake mine. Hello,’ I replied. ‘I’m Melania.’ His eyes filled with curiosity and interest, and, seizing the opportunity, he took the seat next to mine and started a conversation.”
No mentions of Epstein! Surprising but not shocking.
Donald Trump had a similar story about his first meeting with Melania. Appearing for an interview with Larry King, Donald Trump appeared alongside his newlywed wife, Melania Trump and recollected the circumstances under which he met her for the first time. He said:
I was actually supposed to meet somebody else. There was this great supermodel sitting next to Melania. I was supposed to meet the supermodel, and they were saying, ‘Look, there’s so and so.’ I said, ‘Forget about her. Who’s the one on the left?’ and it was Melania.”
While Melania and Trump’s stories about meeting for the first time may not have had any discrepancies, the new set of documents that also contains the revelation from the former Jeffrey Epstein assistant, as previously highlighted, adds another layer to the ongoing investigation.
