She Convinced 2 Guys She Was a Witch by Guessing His Job — Then One of Them Cried
It's amazing that they did not suspect anything because she was so accurate
Ash (@queenbaard) is trying to reclaim a word historically used to describe women who refused to play by societal rules. She makes people, especially men, believe that she is a witch and plays mind games with them, and her TikTok account documents more than one such instance.
In a TikTok video from December 2025, Ash described one such instance where her guessing game was so strong it left everyone bamboozled. She said she was at a bar where she met two guys and brought out a deck of cards to show her magic tricks. As she did, a guy allegedly asked if she could read minds.
In the video, Ash said she wasn’t capable of that, but admits that at the time she told the guy she could. The guy then allegedly told her to tell him what he did for a living. Ash said that she told him that he was either a frat boy or a blue-collar worker. After a little back and forth, Ash eventually narrowed it down to a blue-collar worker and said she thought he worked in a trade.
Ash said the only trade-related job roles she could think of at the time were a plumber and electrician, but said that since he looked “hot she went with electrician, which was correct. She said that the moment she accurately guessed his profession, the guys lost their minds.
Ash said that after this, she offered to tell them their future, and after they agreed, she asked for their palms so she could read them. However, while trying to do so, or at least pretending to do so, she said that it was “too much” for her and left. The guys then allegedly ran after her frantically, hoping to catch up and convince her to do the reading.
“And his friends were following me out. I was like, guys, you need to stay away from me. You need to stay away,” Ash said. She added, “ And they’re like, what? What? What’s going on? What’s going on? And it was so funny. And then I just left. I love fucking with people. On top of that, when I left, he was crying.”
“Ur a psychic and don’t know it lol”
Ash may have explicitly said that she cannot read minds, but some people in the comment section believe she can. One user said, “ur a psychic and don’t know it lol.” Another user hinted at the same thing and said, “As someone who’ds mildly psychic… girllll i think you might be psychic.”
Some people shared similar experiences. One user commented, saying, “I did this once. I asked if I can tell what you do for work, you have to buy my drink. He agreed and I said he was a tech at Midas. “No way! How did you know?! Wow”. He had hung his jacket on his chair with a giant Midas logo on it.” Another user remarked, “I did this to a guy recently. He asked what his birthday was and the first thing that came to mind was his actual birthday LOL.”
The Science Behind Psionics or Parapsychology (Practice of Using Psychic Powers)
A Reddit thread from 3 years ago sought to understand the logic behind someone having psychic powers through discussion. An individual who revealed they had “surprisingly accurate, seemingly prophetic, visions, dreams and feelings” asked people on the thread whether they had a logical explanation for their experience.
Many people responded. Although they came from different schools of thought, almost none denied the possibility of psychic powers.
One person wrote, “As an idealist and a cosmopsychist, I can’t deny the possibility of psychic phenomena. As a skeptic, I’m, well, skeptical…” Another said, “Far from crazy, in fact, lucid can be a better word in many of these cases. Although none of this has been proven, it’s very likely that our intuition, and other aspects of the mind (that our science knows too little about) are what opens the rabbit hole that fully explains all of these phenomena…”
Ash clearly has an expertise that lets her anticipate others’ actions and understand their thoughts. Whether this skill is rooted in scientific methods or something beyond is secondary. That said, given how proficient she is at it, she could stand to lean into the skill the same way this Etsy witch did.
