Woman Gets Stopped by the Police on the Side of the Road. Now, She Is Scared She Will Be Arrested: ‘I Just Finished Smoking’

A woman feared police would arrest her after they pulled her over on the side of the road.

In a video she uploaded to her account, Equana (@equanabennett), filmed herself during the traffic stop and explained that officers had pulled her over. With a tense expression on her face, Equana talks about the possibility of getting into more trouble, as she had just finished smoking in her car. She mentioned that the police might search it. 

Equana Thinks She Is About to Get Arrested

Shortly after saying she believed police would search her car, Equana appeared to be referring to unpaid parking tickets and expressed concern that they could lead to further trouble.

Speaking of arrests, police arrested this woman after she called the cops on men who paid her to spike women’s drinks.

As another person steps out of the police car behind her while she films, Equana notices that the police officers who stopped her are white and claims they are going to do “the most.” At the end of her video, while expressing confusion about what will happen next, Equana concludes by saying, “I’ll see y’all when I see y’all.”

Many commenters expressed concern about what happened after the traffic stop and asked Equana for an update. Others are hoping she isn’t in trouble. User @mf_0619 wrote, “We need an update ASAP!!! QUANA!!”

Meanwhile, user @tee_in_the_city said, “I keep coming back for an update our girl in jaillll.”

What Is the Punishment for Smoking and Driving in Georgia?

They may also have to pay fines ranging from $300 to $1,000. The person involved in the offense would also face up to 12 months of probation. They must complete 40 hours of community service and attend mandatory DUI school. The person’s license could be suspended for up to 12 months. In some cases, judges may approve a limited driving permit for work or travel if the person provides a valid reason.
