Sinners Rejoice! Your Favorite Singing Angels and Demons Will Be Around A While Longer

As the casts of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss entertain fans at LVL UP Expo in Las Vegas with their usual brand of chaos, they also made sure to have a few major announcements as well. During the packed panel, Prime Video announced that Hazbin Hotel has been renewed for a fifth and final season. Seasons three and four were previously announced and are currently finished recording. No release date has been set for them as of yet.

However, this news will keep fans happy during the wait, if a bit sentimental. Though it will still be several years before the story reaches its conclusion, having a definitive end is certainly bittersweet. I’m sure I speak for most fans when I say that we could live in this world indeterminately and would not be opposed to spinoffs.

Also announced at the convention was the first half of the fifteen-episode third season of Helluva Boss, which will premiere on Prime Video in the fall of 2026. Following a mid-season hiatus, the second half of season three will premiere in 2027.

“I’m so thankful for how Prime Video has championed our vision at SpindleHorse, and I’m grateful for their partnership and commitment to bringing Hazbin Hotel to its epic conclusion,” said creator and Executive Producer, Vivienne Medrano. “I’m so excited for fans to see how this story ends.”

About Hazbin Hotel

Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie (Erika Henningsen), the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom. After a yearly extermination imposed by angels, she opens a hotel in the hopes that patrons will be “checking out” into Heaven. While most of Hell mocks her goal, her devoted partner Vaggi (Stephanie Beatriz), and their first test subject, adult-film star Angel Dust (Blake Roman), stick by her side. When a powerful entity known as the Radio Demon (Amir Talai) reaches out to assist Charlie in her endeavors, her crazy dream is given a chance to become a reality.

The show quickly captivated new fans and audiences. Beginning as a humble YouTube pilot, it spawned a passionate fanbase that has seen its success reach not just streaming, but also the wildly anticipated Hazbin Hotel: Live on Broadway that premiered its one-night show last October.

Season two saw the expansion of the universe, introducing backstories to fan-favorite characters as well as setting up what is certainly going to be an explosive season three. How will the Pride Ring recover from Vox’s (Christian Borle) attempted genocide? With Medrano also confirming that the next season will feature more heavily into the Morningstar family’s backstory, there will surely be some drama surrounding Lucifer’s (Jeremy Jordan) history. And we’ll finally get kore on the mysterious and absent Lilith, Lucifer’s wife and Charlie’s mother, who was last seen basking somewhere in Heaven while ignoring her family’s calls.

About Helluva Boss

Also announced at LVL UP Expo: The first half of the fifteen-episode third season of Helluva Boss will premiere on Prime Video in the fall of 2026. Following a mid-season hiatus, the second half of season three will premiere in 2027.

Set in Hell, Helluva Boss follows the hell-born imp Blitzø (Brandon Rogers), the eccentric leader of I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals). I.M.P. is a small, chaotic assassination business able to run thanks to a magic grimoire and a complicated situationship with the demon prince Stolas (Bryce Pinkham). Alongside his equally chaotic ragtag crew–Moxxie (Richard Horvitz), a by-the-books marksman; Millie (Vivian Nixon), a fiery and skilled assassin; and Loona (Erica Lindbeck), their snarky, hellbound receptionist–Blitzo takes on contracts to kill targets in the human world. Balancing their work with personal lives, the team constantly finds themselves in absurd, violent and darkly comedic situations.

Season two ended on a tense cliffhanger after Stolas sacrificed his power to save I.M.P. (and especially Blitzø) from certain doom. Now forced to figure out how to exist amongst the rest of Hell, Stolas is still reeling from the loss of contact with his daughter, Octavia (Barrett Wilbert Weed) while Blitzø himself is coming to terms with the fact that he may be in love with Stolas.

Hazbin Hotel’s second season premiered on October 29, 2025 on Prime Video. Helluva Boss premiered the pre-existing two seasons with a new original episode, “Mission Zero,” on September 10, 2025.
