’It was clearly a smoke screen for a coverup’: Adam Kinzinger weighs in on Pam Bondi hearing, says she is ‘hiding something’

Many people had a lot to say about Attorney General Pam Bondi during the House Judiciary Committee hearing held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. While these individuals had the opportunity to personally grill her and watch her internally scream as she tried to maintain a rigid front, some people who weren’t blessed enough to be present at the hearing also had their opinions about Pam Bondi and her conduct during the event.
Adam Kinzinger is renowned for being a prominent critic of Donald Trump. Having said that, Kinzinger’s criticism is not limited to the orange dictator but also extends to his subjects who are part of his administration. This also includes Pam Bondi, about whom Kinzinger has spoken out against on multiple occasions. Following the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing, Kinzinger is once again condemning Bondi and accusing her of covering up information in the controversial Jeffrey Epstein case.
Attorney General Pam Bondi refuses to answer any pertinent questions about the Jeffrey Epstein investigation during Wednesday’s hearing
For someone who has closely observed Pam Bondi’s decorum during committee hearings since her becoming the US Attorney General, I was pretty sure that she wouldn’t be answering any questions on Wednesday, and I wasn’t wrong. On Wednesday, as one after one House Representatives asked Bondi questions regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case and the Department of Justice’s incapability of bringing justice to the disgraced financier and sex offender’s victims, she either remained silent or deflected.
While there were several “on your face” moments on Wednesday, where Pam Bondi was thoroughly challenged by House members, there are specific instances that are worth mentioning. I’m particularly referring to the exchange between Representative Ted Lieu and Pam Bondi. After Lieu played a clip of Epstein and Trump at a party, he asked Bondi to confirm whether underage girls were present at the event, prompting her to react defensively and assert that there is no evidence that Donald Trump has committed a crime. Lieu then accused Bondi of lying under oath, which led her to warn him against alleging that she committed a “crime.” As a follow-up, Lieu presented evidence that clearly shows Trump may have committed a crime and that Bondi is trying to cover for him.
Adam Kinzinger can see right through Pam Bondi’s facade
In a video uploaded to his X (formerly Twitter) account on February 11, 2026, Adam Kinzinger is stating the “obvious” after watching the House Judiciary Committee hearing featuring Pam Bondi. “The performance today by Pam Bondi for the Oversight Committee is clearly the performance of somebody that is covering up. That is hiding… that knows she is hiding something,” says Kinzinger. He also notes that Bondi’s outraged responses to the questions reflect her own anger, which she is projecting onto others, as she has a moral compass, just like everyone else.
In the second half of his video, Adam Kinzinger highlights the importance of House members continuing to press Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice for more information on the Jeffrey Epstein case until justice is delivered to the victims.
