Whenever a new trend pops up, you have to take stalk of whether or not it is going to be worth your time. Luckily, everyone’s new favorite trend just so happens to be my favorite thing to watch.

The new audio is incredibly popular on social media right now and it is pretty simple: The first part plays “What’s Up” by 4 Non Blondes. It is the part of the song that says “When I wake in the morning and I step outside” and it is glorious. One person sings that with their back to the other person. The camera slowly pans around to the second person, who sings “Beez in the Trap” by 2 Chainz and Nicki Minaj.

Do I want to know who thought those two songs go together? No but I am grateful for them. It is one of those trends that I think everyone wants to be a part of because each of us has one part of this duo. You’re either the vibe of 4 Non Blondes or you are ready to fight people with “Beez in the Trap” and that’s beautiful.

So many of our favorite people have jumped on the new trend with fans even asking for their favorite celebrities to do it and Saturday Night Live did it when Sabrina Carpenter hosted! For an example, here are the Cameron siblings from Outer Banks (Madelyn Cline and Drew Starkey) doing the trend.

Obviously the “Beez in the Trap” portion of the song is giving the best kind of energy. I say this as someone who knows that that’s me in any given situation but alas. It is a fun new trend that people get to just all partake in and I think that’s pretty neat!
