Things We Saw Today: Inventor Builds Hydraulic Hulkbuster Suit from Parts Bought on eBay

What could possibly go wrong?

Recommended Videos

Youtube’s resident mad scientist Colin Furze is back with a brand new video showing off his latest creation: a hydraulic Hulkbuster suit built entirely out of parts he sourced from eBay. Furze previously built this epic replica of a Star Wars AT-ACT for son, as well as a set of pneumatic Wolverine claws and a flame-throwing guitar inspired by Mad Max: Fury Road.

The ten-foot tall Hulkbuster suit is strong enough to hold a full-grown man, and features a power fist in one hand and a flame-thrower in the other. Furze spent two months building the suit, which houses three hydraulic pumps inside it’s steel frame. Is there anything this guy can’t build?

Chelsea was born and raised in New Orleans, which explains her affinity for cheesy grits and Britney Spears. An pop culture journalist since 2012, her work has appeared on Autostraddle, AfterEllen, and more. Her beats include queer popular culture, film, television, republican clownery, and the unwavering belief that 'The Long Kiss Goodnight' is the greatest movie ever made. She currently resides in sunny Los Angeles, with her husband, 2 sons, and one poorly behaved rescue dog. She is a former roller derby girl and a black belt in Judo, so she is not to be trifled with.
