Things We Saw Today: The Lego Batman Theme Song Is “Gaston” for Pop-Punk Gym Rats

Warner Brothers has posted the theme song from The Lego Batman Movie, and it is pleasingly ludicrous. With lines like “Who can chokehold a bear? (BATMAN!)”, “Who does the sickest backflips? (BATMAN!)” and “Who always pays their taxes? (BATMAN!)”, it’s like a pop-punk, ‘roided-out take on “Gaston.” The song comes from Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump, who previously recorded the theme song for 2016’s Ghostbusters with Missy Elliott. The soundtrack is also available to stream on Spotify. (Via /Film)

It’s kind of, like, a big miscommunication, which is funny to me.”
