Matthew Lewis and Millie Bobby Brown hung out over the weekend and took a selfie to commemorate! Brown’s Eleven spends a lot of time with the nerdy outcasts of Hawkins, so it’s only appropriate that she’s chilling out with Neville Longbottom, the bumbling but brave hero of Harry Potter.Â
Lewis jokes in the caption that his “XI” tattoo is in honor of Brown’s character. Eleven is the actor’s lucky number–the age he was cast in the Harry Potter films. What a coincidence!
It’s always nice to see celebrities geeking out like the rest of us. Brown is a Harry Potter fan and even took a Wizarding World trip not too long ago. Lewis also isn’t the first Harry Potter actor to share his love for Stranger Things, as Daniel Radcliffe gushed about how talented he thought the young stars were last month. Now I’m picturing a different world where Eleven’s powers are actually magic and instead of spending times in depressing labs she’s taking Professor Longbottom’s class in Herbology at Hogwarts. Or a Lewis cameo in Stranger Things season 2.
