Simone Giertz, the queen of “shitty robots,” has done it again with her Pokémon Go helmet. Have you been colliding with people and stationary objects on the street because you keep looking down at your phone? Or struggling with balancing the responsibility of becoming a Pokémon master with other stuff you need your hands for like eating, holding babies, or clasping the hand of a loved one in a desperate plea for them not to leave? Well, reasonable advice dictates you should probably get your priorities in order, but fun says “get yourself special helmet so people know that you don’t mess around when it comes to catching Pokémon.”
This magnificent contraption allows you to catch Pokémon with your face and tongue, freeing your hands for all kinds of neat stuff. The possibilities are endless, not to mention the sheer amount of sex appeal you’ll be oozing. This helmet is basically a social lure for instant popularity. Fashion over comfort, am I right y’all?
Unfortunately, Giertz says she’s only made one of these helmets and has no plans to sell it “because it makes [her] feel stupid.” More like stupidly cool.
