Behind-The-Scenes Macbeth Featurette Takes Us Inside the Madness

Something wicked this way comes.

Every bit of news that comes out of the Macbeth camp has me making grabby hands—not to mention that I’m a sucker for all the behind-the-scenes and production-related info they’ll give me.

Thanks to the beauty of the Internet, we now have a very generous five-minute featurette that’s been released to whet our appetites until the film’s premiere.

Macbeth was originally selected to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival and has been getting fairly positive reviews. Directed by Justin Kurzel (who will also be at the helm for the Assassin’s Creed movie adaptation), the film stars Michael Fassbender as the titular Scottish general and Marion Cotillard as his equally powerful wife.

And now we have a release date! Macbeth will be in U.S. theaters on December 4, 2015. So fair and foul a day we’ll surely be seeing then.
