Jessica Chastain Is Chillingly Serious in Peek at Crimson Peak

Take a sneak peak at Crimson Peek--wait, no, that's not right.

Jessica Chastain spreads her horror wings in Crimson Peak, Guillermo del Toro’s next project. If this sneak peak peek at Crimson Peek Peak (kinda rolls off the tongue there, doesn’t it) is any indication, then it really seems like she’s a natural at horror, too. She’s got one hell of a piercing stare, and frankly, we can’t get enough of it.

Chastain plays Lady Lucille, sister to Sir Thomas Sharpe (Tom Hiddleston). She’s overprotective of her brother, and grows increasingly standoffish to his new bride, Edith Cushing (Mia Wasikowska). Oh, and they all live in a house that literally bleeds. Though if you know del Toro’s work (and I like to think I do), then you know that’s not all that’s up with this house.

Seriously, though: if someone told you that the water in the house runs red, ostensibly because of “clay” (uh-huh, I’m watching you Hiddles), would you stay there? Yeah. Didn’t think so.
