Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt returns on April 15th – just in time to cheer you up after you’ve filed your taxes at the last minute. Netflix just released a Season 2 teaser that perfectly captures the show’s boisterous nature.
The best thing about Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is that Kimmy herself is doggedly optimistic, despite everything in the world telling her she probably shouldn’t be. She’s a woman who doesn’t let tragic events get her down, and I’m looking forward to seeing how she moves past her trauma and continues to rebuild her life in Season Two. What I love most about this teaser is that it captures her spirit – despite the monochromatic fashionista-ness of the beginning, Kimmy is quick to liven up the festivities with confetti and her signature brand of cheerfulness. It’s a miracle!
