What If Snow White Was In Every Movie This Year? [VIDEO]

You might be feeling a little Snow Whited out (ha!) but Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman are just two films this year when you think about it. (Though we told you yesterday there was another big Snow White film planned that fell through.) But what if, instead of Snow White starring in her own films, she starred in everyone else’s. Writer/actress Genevieve Farrell shows us exactly what could have been if the fairy tale character had invaded films like Battleship, Prometheus, or The Hobbit.

Eiko Ishioka, Oscar-Winning Costume Designer, Dies at 73

Costume designer, graphic designer, and artistic genius Eiko Ishioka, who won an Oscar for her costume design for Bram Stoker’s Dracula in 1992, passed away on January 21 of pancreatic cancer. Ishioka enjoyed international renown for her work in costume design and was recognized as one of the most prolific art directors and graphic designers in her native Japan. Most recently, she worked on the costumes for Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark and frequent collaborator Tarsem Singh‘s Snow White retelling, Mirror, Mirror. Come inside and see what this woman created throughout her career, and why her very creative touch is going to be sorely missed.

Snow White and The Huntsman Trailer Gives Us Swords And Beauty

There are two Snow White projects happening at the moment. One is Tarsem Singh’s Mirror, Mirror, the other is Snow White and the Huntsman. Starring Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth (you remember that little fight they had?) and Charlize Theron, Snow White and the Huntsman is already doing an amazing job of telling us why this is the one to watch. Look past Twilight, look past Thor and just sit back and let this sink in. It’s delicious.

And well, we started you off today with a woman in kick-ass battle armor, we figured, why not end your day with one too?
