Catch Up On BBC America’s Orphan Black And Watch The Finale This Weekend [VIDEO]

Have you been watching BBC America’s original series Orphan Black (finale teaser above)? I started watching it because the premise sounded interesting but I’m usually skeptical about new shows. Luckily, there was no reason to be. Orphan Black is fantastic, highly addicting, and one of my new favorite series. Star Tatiana Maslany has the incredible task of playing several different parts and does so deftly (Check out our interview with her here.) and the supporting cast are a joy to watch. If you’ve never seen Orphan Black, missed an episode, or just want to relive the fun, catch a Season 1 replay this Saturday, culminating with the final at 9/8c on BBC America. And yes, it’s already been renewed for a second season so don’t wait!

This show is fantastic. My husband and I have been more excited about Orphan Black each Saturday than we have been about Doctor Who. Maslany is phenomenal. She blows me away every episode. Each character is unique and interesting and believable, I don’t know how she does it.

I have been drving everyone I know absolutely crazy with how much I gush about this show! It’s easily one of the best shows to premier this year (if not the best), and I’m trying to get everyone I know on board as well, so this little S1 marathon is GREAT! Maslany is truly gifted! I don’t think anyone could have played these characters to skillfully. I sometimes even forget that they’re all her! I’m extatic about a second season, and here’s hoping for a good long run after that!

    Same here!

Very good show. Not much spectacle and the story is fairly mild, but it’s fun forgetting there aren’t a dozen different Maslany’s and it’s not nearly offensive to good taste as, say, The Walking Dead. I’m super glad it’s coming back.

This show looks interesting, and I’m baffled as to why the BBC in Britain isn’t showing it. They’ve got enough shit on their schedule they could throw out to make room for it.

I believe it’s set to air on BBC 3.
