Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Little Girls Engineer Their Own Toys to Take Over the Pink Aisle In This Goldie Blox Ad [VIDEO]

Watch as little girls show off their creativity and make their toys more innovative in this advertisement from toy creators Goldie Blox.  The company wants to put more engineering toys in the “pink aisles” of toy stores, and give little girls and boys the same options for toys that encourage creative thinking and problem solving as well as fun. The girls in the ad can be builders, thinkers, princesses, and tomboys in any combination they want, and Goldie Blox is giving them a toy with the adaptability to match. I can’t… I just… this is the first TV ad EVER to make me tear up… seriously. (I think I didn’t get enough sleep last night, but that could be irrelevant.)
When the girl put on the yellow rock star sunglasses I got thrills, which are like chills but so much happier. This made my day. Thanks :)

Thank god I am not the only one that got choked up at that. So awesome!

I got chocked up too. Even though I’m a guy, I was like “FINALLY!! Young girls will start to have some of the same fun I had when I was a kid building things!” :’)

This is so brilliant. It hit me in the feels so hard. The message plus the song (and lyrics) just went together so amazingly. More than a princess!
