Hell Yeah, Science!: Little Emma and Her Robotic Exoskeleton Will Attack Your Heart With Adorable

The girl in the above video is Emma. She is two years old and was born with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita. Luckily for her, Dr. Tariq Rahman is an awesome human being–he designed her a custom-fit, 3D-printed robotic exoskeleton. Science! Really inspiring, amazing science that has forever changed this little girl’s life. Watch the above video, and I dare you not to feel your heart and your brain hug.

This is possibly the most awesome application of 3D printing technology I’ve ever seen.

Amazing, is it a powered device at all or is it purely rubber-band driven like it appears from the outside?
