What in the Silver Springs is going on with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham?

Oasis is back, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are cryptically posting, people are wearing acid wash jeans….what year is it!? More importantly though, what is going on with Nicks and Buckingham and do I need to prepare for a reunion tour?

I was minding my own business on this fine Thursday when Nicks and Buckingham decided to be a little sneaky. To be clear, these are the same two who gave us a performance of “Silver Springs” from The Dance that recently broke the internet and yet here they are, teasing us yet again.

Before we get into it, let’s be clear: They have not performed together since 2018. That might feel like last year but it is actually 7 years ago. Their last official tour was in 2017. So it has been a minute and yet the duo took to Instagram to have us all yelled “WHAT” at our screens.

Nicks posted an image with the lyrics “And if you go forward…” written on it.

There was no caption, no other information. Just the lyrics. Then Buckingham responded by posting a similar image to Nicks that said “I’ll meet you there.”

The words are lyrics to a song that the duo recorded prior to their time with Fleetwood Mac. It is called “Frozen Love” and was just the two of them. Fans of both Buckingham and Nicks know this song well and the fact that the two are posting it out of the blue has us all questioning what is going on.

Am I going to have to save money for a reunion tour or what exactly is going on? Honestly, if this all means that I can somehow see Stevie Nicks singing “Silver Springs” live at Lindsey Buckingham, it will be worth it.

But for now, the two just posted the lyrics online without explanation and I am still screaming about it.
