Wait sorry that’s Jonah Hill?!

Transforming yourself for a role is one thing but there are some moments where people are completely unrecognizable. Like Jonah Hill with a blonde bob for his new movie.

Hill is starring in the new movie, Cut Off, where he’s playing Kristen Wiig’s twin. As part of the transformation into siblings, Hill has a pretty spectacular haircut and a new change of outfits. The set photos came out and fans of Hill’s were shocked by how different he looked in costume for the new film. And it had many questioning if that was really Hill.

It is and now that we have that sorted, I would like to remind everyone that Hill has, publicly, in the past spoken about how people talk about his body and his body image. Specifically that he does not want people commenting on his body. In a since deleted Instagram post, Hill responded to someone who wrote something about the way he looks.

“I know you mean well but I kindly ask that you not comment on my body,” he wrote in response. “good or bad I want to politely let you know it’s not helpful and doesn’t feel good. Much respect.” Since, people have seemingly forgot that Hill himself asked that people do not comment on his body, please take this as a way to remember.

He has also decided in the past to stop doing press for his movies because of his own anxiety, saying “I have come to the understanding that I have spent nearly 20 years experiencing anxiety attacks, which are exacerbated by media appearances and public-facing events.”

Hill is directing Cut Off as well as starring in the film he co-wrote. So it will be exciting to see him taking on all these duties at once and while yes, seeing him in a bright blonde wig and leopard print shirt is shocking, let’s not make the comments about his transformation weird.
