‘This is not helping with my anxiety’: ICU nurse speaks about ‘spiritual’ shift, says ‘every single person’ who passes away ‘says the same thing’

User @kirstierobbb on TikTok is highlighting an interesting trend she has noticed in her four years of working as an ICU nurse. This phenomenon, as she claims, is visible among people who are on their path to the other side of the world.
Everybody was curious to know what @kirstierobbb was going to say about her experiences in the medical field when she uploaded a video on her TikTok account on February 2, 2026, hinting at the same. However, no one was prepared for what she told next. To give a gist of what she said, she basically stated that people who are about to die already know of their fate, and say the same thing to those accessible around them. So what exactly is it? Read, to find out.
User @kirstierobbb says a “spiritual shift” allows people to know if they are about to die
Starting her video on a strong note, User @kirstierobbb on TikTok claimed that in her years of experience working as an ICU nurse, she has noticed that people who are about to die usually say the same thing, which is, “Can you please tell my family I love them? I don’t feel good. I know I’m gonna die.”
Kirstie attributes this phenomenon to a “spiritual” shift “that nobody can explain”, noting that their “vitals may be stable”, their condition may be the “exact same way that it was when they came in,” and there could be nothing inherently “dangerous” that’s “screaming this is what’s gonna kill them. She continued, saying that it does not matter in which condition the patient was brought in, how many tests have been conducted on them, and the number of surgeries they have had, but the moment that “inner shift happens” where the spirit is “crying out” and telling the person that they have one more chance, “they always die.”
User @kirstierobbb is asking people to “stop playing” with their lives and keep faith in God
In addition to highlighting her experiences of people who are about to be deceased in the video she posted on her TikTok on February 2, 2026, user @kirstierobbb also asked people to stop playing around with their lives and stressed that God and Jesus were “real.” She also shared that she believes that people have become too consumed by other things, noting that these pursuits have little value as people are just going to leave them behind when they die. She added, “Life is not meant to be an endless pursuit of things. Life is meant to be enjoyed. Life is meant to be appreciated. Life is meant to be explored.”
Kirstie continued speaking, alleging that the spirits of individuals already know that they are connected to something “deeper” than what they have been made aware of. She also mentions that this is what tells the people who are dying that they are about to die.
Research tells a different story
Based on a study published on the website of the National Library of Medicine, people having some awareness of whether they are going to die has more to do with them accepting their imminent fate, especially when they are suffering from critical diseases like cancer and less to do with them having a spiritual awakening.
The study notes that, based on research that was conducted to evaluate awareness of dying among patients, 51 per cent of patients knew that they were about to die, while 58 per cent of nurses knew the same. 63 per cent of family caregivers also knew about the imminence of death in patients.
