‘That’s gonna piss her off’: Rep. Thomas Massie shuts down an ABC journalist with a savage reply about Pam Bondi

Attorney General Pam Bondi’s appearance during the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing will go down in history as one of the worst. Why? Because Bondi, who was questioned on a myriad of topics, including the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, repeatedly deflected, shifted blame, and refused to answer the questions she was being asked, persuading one Representative to even angrily leave her seat.
Pam Bondi will only answer to Donald Trump and his stooges, and during her appearance on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the House Judiciary Committee hearing she made that very clear. Every time she was asked a question related to the Jeffrey Epstein case and the Department of Justice’s inadequacy in properly investigating it, she pretended not to listen and maintained an aloof demeanour. The worst bit? When victims of Epstein stood up alleging that the DOJ had failed to bring them justice, she didn’t even look at them once and instead was focused on the files before her. This didn’t go unnoticed, as several people who tuned in to watch the hearing have since turned it into a subject of great controversy.
Thomas Massie has no faith in Pam Bondi and her role as Attorney General
On February 15, 2026, United States Representative Thomas Massie, who has been one of the few individuals who have been at the forefront of the Jeffrey Epstein case, appeared for an interview on ABC News’s “This Week” hosted by Martha Raddatz. An important topic of discussion during his presence at the show was Pam Bondi’s conduct during the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing, which was a huge disappointment for many and a disservice to Epstein’s victims.
In a specific moment of the interview that has received significant attention on social media, including platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Massie can be seen discussing his expectations from Pam Bondi. On being asked by Raddatz if he has confidence in Pam Bondi as the Attorney General, Massie cheekily replied, “I don’t think Pam Bondi has confidence in Pam Bondi. She wasn’t confident enough to engage in anything but name-calling in a hearing. And, so no, I don’t have confidence in her. She hasn’t got any sort of an accountability there at the DOJ.”
Thomas Massie hints at Pam Bondi and the DOJ protecting Leslie Wexner
With the release of the latest tranche of Jeffrey Epstein files, one name that has emerged and captured attention is billionaire Leslie Herbert Wexner, also known as Les Wexner. His name appeared multiple times in the documents. However, since their release, Thomas Massie has consistently alleged that Wexner’s name was redacted from a significant document that lists him as a co-conspirator. Massie raised this issue during Pam Bondi’s hearing on Wednesday, but as expected, he did not receive satisfactory answers. Bondi stated that his name appeared multiple times in the files, so it was irrelevant if it was missing from one, and that they corrected the mistake in a short time. However, Massie pointed out that the correction was made only after he had brought it to their attention.
During his recent appearance on ABC News, Thomas Massie again mentioned Les Wexner, highlighting how Pam Bondi is trying to downplay his presence in the Epstein Files. He said, “When I asked her specifically who redacted Leslie Wexner’s name from the one document that mattered, she couldn’t give me an answer. She wouldn’t give me an answer. But ultimately, it’s her who was responsible for the document production according to our law, the attorney general. It’s not Todd Blanch. It’s not the people below them. You can assign tasks to people, but you can’t assign your responsibility.”
