New York woman orders $600 bag from Revolve. She sees it came with a potential biohazard when she opens it: ‘I actually have no words’

Unboxing a $600 designer bag should feel glamorous, not like opening evidence in a crime scene. But that’s exactly the vibe one New York woman says she got after ordering a sleek Cult Gaia piece from Revolve.
Not only was the bag expensive, but she also allegedly discovered something extra tucked inside the packaging: a random pair of underwear. Now she’s going viral after sharing the shocking reveal, especially considering that the fashion retailer refuses to refund her.
What was in Her Bag?
Over 360,000 viewers are cringing everywhere with influencer Abby Baffoe’s (@abbybaffoe) viral clip. Her text overlay simply hints at the nature of the video, saying “I am disgusted.”
Abby begins by saying how she ordered a Cult Gaia bag from Revolve and “if you know anything about that brand, it was expensive.” It’s a gold clutch bag. She explains that she had just removed it from the dust bag when she noticed scratches and dents all over the bag. At first, she thought it might have been how she handled it, but upon opening the bag, she knew it wasn’t her fault.
“There is a pair of [expletive] underwear in here,” Abby rants as she opens the bag towards the camera. “This is a used bag and I hope to God those are not used undies.”
Abby laments even more the fact that it’s the only bag she can use to an event that day. Even worse, she won’t get a refund. In her caption, Abby shares, “Revolve count your mf days…and yes I still had to use the bag.”
Was the Bag Really $600?
Many viewers are incredulous over the price tag that comes with the bag. Others are confused, thinking Abby bought it off the Cult Gaia website. However, she used Revolve, a fashion retailer known for selling high-end items.
From Cult Gaia, the price is listed at €700. On Revolve, $598. While it’s unclear whether Abby got it on sale, the product at the moment is listed on sale for $568. However, it is emphasized that no returns or exchanges are allowed. The website doesn’t have the best track record, with many comments under Abby highlighting their own experiences with the retailer.

Viewers Blast Revolve
Many share their own horror stories. One viewer says, “Revolve sent me a used retrofete dress that had someone’s hair tie on it to shorten the halter top straps. And they tried to say I did it.”
Another says, “Revolve sent me a SMELLY shirt that was clearly worn and returned…smelled it immediately out of the package! I’m shocked they didn’t quality control it for their price point. I was so disgusted and haven’t ordered since.”
A third shares, “Revolve is on a major decline!!! I see posts like this more and more.” Abby replies, “I mean I love them I think they have great options and they always save me in a pickle with the fast shipping but this is WILD.”
With so many heated comments, even Cult Gaia joined the conversation. Their comment has over 1,600 likes and reads, “Oh no! We would never ship anything like this. This bag actually is supposed to come in a beautiful Cult Gaia branded box. Sorry you had this experience.”
Abby quickly fixes the misunderstanding, stating, “Guys cult Gaia is not who I purchased from!!!! lol- they would never. it was from revolve.”
Lastly, some viewers are simply demanding justice for Abby. One viewer says, “Full refund. In fact they should give you a new one for free.” Another simply states, “Call corporate.”
