Between long-awaited sequels and surprising dark horses, 2022 delivered so many incredible games that it was often impossible to keep up. And though that often felt frustrating—especially as a game reporter—when you step back, that's a pretty great problem to have.

From polarizing spectacles like Nope to long-awaited sequels like Avatar: The Way of Water, there were more features released this year than some of us could keep up with. So it makes sense that some of the most thoughtful and beautifully produced movies might have been overlooked.

Now though, we can all watch it on Netflix and self-insert ourselves into Evie's position.

It's not common for a live-action show to be adapted into an anime. Generally, it's the other way around, and it seldom works out well (Netflix's Death Note is a great example).
