One Actor Is Such a Bad Player on ‘The Traitors’

Alan Cumming in 'The Traitors' season 2

Not everyone is going to be good on game shows. The Traitors isn’t easy for everyone. But one actor on season 4 of the hit series is so bad, it truly is annoying. I’m talking about Michael Rapaport.

The comedian is one of the Faithfuls on the game this season and he is so bad at being a Faithful that everyone wants to vote him off just because of that. They’re not even sure if he’s a Traitor, they just think he’s bad at it. Which should tell you everything you need to know. They’re willing to vote a Faithful off if it means he’s gone.

To be fair to the fellow Faithfuls, he is derailing conversations and making it all about how he needs a shield because he’s a target. Which he was only ever a target because he was doing things like that. Basically he rolled in and decided everyone would want to vote him off. Personally, I wish they would vote him off faster.

Rapaport is a controversial figure for many reasons, his loyalty to Israel and Zionism being a large part of that. He also recently decided that 4 days into Zohran Mamdani’s mayoral tenure that he needed to run a counter campaign. Michael Rapaport, who has no political backing, thinks a man who just started is destroying a city. The same man who interviewed Mayor Eric Adams, a man who really did make the city worse. So…there’s that.

But what makes Rapaport the worst player in The Traitors history is that he doesn’t know how to be a team player. He clearly came into the game with a victim complex. No matter what, he thinks they’re coming for him and man, they only are because you’re making it impossible to play the game.

Can he please get voted off?

It’s bad enough that Rapaport constantly shares dangerous and harmful Zionist views on social media but he also has a long history of alleged harassment charges of his ex girlfriend. So to get it right: He’s annoying, bad at this show, and has allegedly harassed a woman and yet he’s on the show to try to win money? Is this for his ill-fated mayoral race because he can’t stand the first 9 days of Zohran Mamdani?

Whatever ends up happening with Rapaport on this season of the show, it is truly hard to watch a lot of the time he’s on it. He almost cost them $20k because he thought there should be a discussion about who gets the shields, a thing that has never happened on the show? The rule is literally whoever finds it gets to decide. It isn’t a committee discussion.

From derailing important roundtable discussions to just generally not being fun to watch, it really is upsetting that he has still not been voted off the show.
