Hey, you may have noticed that we’re sporting a a brand new homepage, as promised. Well, another new one—a new new one. We hope you like it!

You’ll probably notice that it’s very similar to the old homepage, which isn’t exactly a coincidence. Last week’s redesign made it difficult to distinguish between ads, sidebar modules, and our own current posts. Posts also didn’t have introductory paragraphs, which allowed us to fit more on the page but ultimately made things more cluttered and confusing.

So, we’ve mostly brought back our old design, keeping a few of the notable improvements like comment counters, an additional featured post slot, more noticeable hyperlinks, and some other small changes. We appreciate all your feedback on the matter and hope that this new site design addresses your concerns and feels more like the Mary Sue we all know and love. Happy reading, Mary Suevians!
