‘She’s a grifter’: Jennifer Welch just accused Erika Kirk of “weaponizing” her religion and gender, and people on the internet agree

Charlie Kirk wasn’t much of a leader, as he was a conspirator, and his wife, following his death, is continuing to work on his agenda by preaching his values. She is striving to achieve this by making herself more visible, by participating in as many interviews as possible on reputable news channels, where she has been trying to validate, and promote some of the most problematic ideas known to humanity.

While a large portion of MAGA and conservative supporters agree with Erika Kirk’s remarks during her public appearances, many are expressing their outrage over them, and rightly so. The individuals criticising Erika Kirk’s damaging narrative are not just online users who disagree with her views, but also notable public figures, including reality-TV star and podcast host Jennifer Welch.

During the December 7 episode of her podcast, I’ve Had It, Welch brought up some of the damaging comments Kirk made about women during a recent event. When asked to comment on New York Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani’s victory during a recent appearance for The New York Times, Kirk stated that Mamdani won because a significant number of women voted for him. She also emphasized that many of these women voted for him because they are steering clear of romantic relationships and marriage and looking to the government for support instead.

Welch pointed out these comments in her critique of Erika Kirk, accusing her of being hypocritical, noting that she herself is a working woman who chose to have a family at a certain point in her life, and that she could make these decisions independently because women who came before her fought for those rights. Welch accused Kirk of weaponizing her “gender” and also labelled her a “grifter.” Discussing Erika Kirk, Jennifer Welch said:

“You are an opportunistic grifter who weaponises your gender to demean women, and you are a walking, talking, breathing example as to why nobody, number one, wants to be a Christian, and number two, wants to be a female hypocrite such as yourself. Your language, your organisation, makes women less safe all across the board. “

Welch also spoke about the late Charlie Kirk, referring to him as an “unrepentant racist” and a “homophobe.” Following Jennifer Welch’s comments about Erika Kirk, there has been significant backlash from Republicans, with conservative individuals calling Welch out for her remarks. They have taken to social media to express their grievances, but unfortunately, the platform is also filled with numerous comments supporting Welch’s statements, which they cannot ignore.
