Hot dad Jake Sully is back in the ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ trailer

If there is one thing I know about the Avatar movies, it is that Jake Sully is a hot dad. To be clear: I am talking about Jake as the Na’vi. He’s just so tall and handsome and blue!

Now look, I’ve thought Jake Sully was hot in all the Avatar movies. That’s just Sam Worthington for us all. But there was something about Avatar: The Way of Water that made him that much more attractive: He’s a dad now. Dads who care about their kids are just next level and that trend is seemingly continuing for Jake in Fire and Ash.

We learn a lot more about what the third film will take on in a new trailer released by Disney. The new tribe of Na’vi are not kind to Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) and her family and Jake has to remind her that she cannot let this all consume her. Which is, arguably, the hottest part of this trailer. “You cannot live like this, baby. In hate,” Jake says and yep, so true my guy won’t be living in hate whatever you say.

The new movie is described as follows: “With Avatar: Fire and Ash, James Cameron takes audiences back to Pandora in an immersive new adventure with Marine turned Na’vi leader Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), and the Sully family.”

All of that is great but back to hot dad Jake Sully. I understand that a) he’d be 80 feet taller than me but also b) he’s protect me fiercely and that’s kind of what I’m looking for. To be honest, I think that Jake being a good dad is a great part of this franchise as a whole and if it means I find a very tall blue Na’vi hot in the process then so be it.

Avatar: Fire and Ash will hit theaters on December 19.
