Watch Gilmore Girls’ Hep Alien Reunite and Play the Show’s Theme Song

The fictional Stars Hollow band Hep Alien, headed up by Lane Kim (Keiko Agena), Zack Van Gerbig (Todd Lowe), and Brian Fuller (John Cabrera), reunited in real life at the ATX Television Festival last week, where many other Gilmore Girls cast members got together for a reunion panel. Here’s the band playing the show’s theme song and then Hep Alien-ifying it for a surreal in-universe effect.

You can also check out the full show, which features more music including “Where Is My Mind” by The Pixies and Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” because that’s just how rock and roll Hep Alien is. Here’s a brief clip if you happen to be running late for any first days at fancy private schools or inn openings:
