Viral DoorDash driver sparks wild court moment during assault trial

Livie Rose Henderson’s strange trial has taken a wild turn on social media as the judge made her hearing a viral moment. She’s pleading not guilty to one count of unlawful surveillance and another count of dissemination of an unlawful surveillance image. This is about as new-age of a court case as you’re going to find. Henderson requested that there be no cameras in the courtroom and the judge quipped, “Oh, now you have a problem with cameras.”
To summarize the incident in question, the viral TikToker worked for Doordash. Upon getting a order requested to be at the front door of the residents, she arrived to a wide open door according to her account. She found the customer in question Lying with his pants around his ankles.
Henderson discovered this, took video, and posted it on Tiktok. That last bit of information is crucial as that’s where these legal charges come from. Her is a lighting rod on social media because she argued that she was a victim of sexual assault because of the incident. (i.e. unrequested sexual display, not rape from official sources.)

From there, things devolve into situations that border on online drama. but, considering the subject matter TikTok, DoorDash, and the authorities had to get involved. Henderson’s account was deleted from DoorDash, along with the customer’s profile as well. Then, formal charges were pursued as investigators questioned Henderson’s intent, considering her sizeable online following. Oswego Police Department put out a statement to USA Today.
“It was reported that a male DoorDash customer had been nude inside his residence when a DoorDash delivery driver dropped off a food order,” police wrote “An investigation was initiated by the Oswego Police Department, during which it was discovered that the delivery driver had take video of the nude male. The video, along with the subsequent investigation, indicates that the male was incapacitated and unconscious on his couch due to alcohol consumption.”
The case is ongoing, and with this level of media scrutiny, or possibly cameras in the courtroom, expect more of a circus than it would have been otherwise. Judging by the comments on social media, the rising vitriol against women sexual assault reporters is going to factor into reactions online this time around too. All this follows in the patterns used against Blake Lively, Megan Thee Stallion, and others.
