Did Bill Cosby Just Admit to His Crimes?

Looking at all the evidence that’s out there, it’s hard to believe Bill Cosby is a free man right now.
Despite his trial judge labelling him a sexually violent predator who could still pose a danger to women, the one time television superstar had his 2018 conviction for aggravated indecent assault quashed due to a legal technicality. The strong evidence of decades of alleged repulsive and criminal behavior, although clear for everyone to see, is not enough from a legal perspective to put him back into prison.
Cosby did, however, have to pay damages to a number of women he allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted, including Donna Motsinger, who was reportedly assaulted by Cosby in the 1970s. She was a waitress at one of his favorite restaurants, where he struck up a friendship with her and her son before he allegedly drugged and assaulted her.
Now outlet TMZ claims they’ve recovered sealed testimony from a deposition Cosby gave in relation to his assault on Motsinger, in which he admits he refilled a recreational prescription of quaaludes with the intention of drugging women. The former comedian is alleged to have received them from Dr Leroy Amar, a gynecologist he knew from a poker game. As per TMZ, Amar had his license revoked in 1979, the best part of a decade after Motsinger was assaulted. The publication claims that in the testimony Cosby admits to refilling the prescription seven times.
Cosby has predictably denied the report from TMZ, claiming that he took the quaaludes, or “disco biscuits”, as “all the entertainers had them.”
It remains to be seen if “America’s Dad” will face a reckoning for his well documented crimes, or if he will continue to use his massive wealth to swat away justice. If this latest bombshell admission is anything to go by, there is a chance justice will prevail, albeit decades too late for what could still be many more victims.
