Woman wants designer shopping bag but doesn’t want to spend $125. Then she finds out Aldi has a $30 dupe: ‘Target has one for $12’

Budget-friendly TikTok creator Katelyn Stadel (@eden__home) is one of them, who takes 2.9 million viewers on a journey in search of the Hulken designer dupe at Aldi.
What Is A Hulken Rolling Grocery Bag?
According to the brand’s website, this Hulken bag is a wheeled grocery bag designed to enhance the shopping experience. Crafted from durable polypropylene, the tote holds up to 66 pounds and rolls easily, combining lightweight and durability. In addition, the bag folds for storage and transport, making it suitable for almost anywhere. Customers can choose from small, medium, and large sizes in black, silver, and rose, priced between $99 and $125.
An Aldi Adventure
“I’m at Aldi because I saw on their weekly ad that they have a Hulknen look alike bag,” she says, pushing her cart in the store. “The Hulken bag is $125. I love it. I think it’s super cute but I’m not spending $125 on a grocery bag.”
Thanks to the Aldi ad, she will be able to purchase an affordable decoy, getting a bang for her buck. “So, supposedly, Aldi has one this week for $30. Let’s see if we can go find it.” Then, the content creator walks down several aisles in search of this specific bag.
After the third aisle, Stadel bends down to a shelf and retrieves a box that contains the bag. “I got it,” she says, holding it with a smile. “I got the black. I’m so excited.”
What Did Viewers Think?
Stadel’s find amassed 2.9 million views, leaving most viewers confused and demanding that she unveil the Aldi dupe.
“Is it Hulken bag or hiding bag ?! I dont know what a hulken bag is and I still don’t know after seeing your video … show as the bag!”” one viewer remarked.
“It would’ve been nice if you showed us what it looked like!” a second griped.
“You should probably show the item you’re talking about. Could help someone,” a third stated.
Moreover, others revealed what they believed were better options than the one she found.

Aldi Hulken Bag Replica Reveal
Due to the volume of complaints, Stadel released a follow-up video.
“I did not mean to leave you all hanging and not show what the actual bag looks like,” she said, standing in her living room. Then, it was time for the big reveal.
“This is what the bag looks like,” she added, holding up what appears to be a large black folding bag with rollers on the bottom. Although it may seem huge to anyone unaware of the Hulken, it’s actually a small size. “This is more comparable to the smaller Hulken, which is $99,” the content creator explained in the on-screen text. She saved around $70 with the Aldi alternative.
Next, Stadel demonstrated how many belongings she could fit by placing a laundry basket of folded clothes, followed by reaching for her purse and two hats. “I could definitely fit some more in here,” she said, zipping it up. Needless to say, she loved it. “I wanna go back and get another one,” she added, rolling the bag across the floor.
